Since its launch in 1981, the Hohhot Vocational School of Culture and Arts has developed a comprehensive seven-category program system. Its flagship early childhood education program has evolved over four decades into a comprehensive model that combines theory with practical training, ensuring students are workforce-ready.
"We organize regular internships and invite experts and principals to give lectures," said Gao Ji, deputy director of admissions of the vocational school. "Our dual-track model balances academic and technical skills, offering further education and job opportunities."
Hohhot Modern Information Technology School has developed AI-focused drone programs and partnered with Inner Mongolia Baosheng Technology Co to establish a city-level training center, merging real-world enterprise experience with classroom learning.
This year, the school's jointly developed LY-29 drone, capable of vertical take-off and landing, was launched in Hohhot and will be used in forestry and traffic inspection, marking a breakthrough in compound-wing drone technology.
The city will continue to integrate vocational resources and strengthen school-enterprise collaboration to shape a high-quality modern education ecosystem.
