Yantai celebrates China Tourism Day with vibrant activities

Yantai, a city in East China's Shandong province, recently held a lively event to commemorate China Tourism Day.

At the event, the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism curated nine routes themed on ancient cities, mountains and seas, and light and shadow, showcasing Yantai's tourism routes that offer thrilling experiences to visitors.

One particularly attention-grabbing initiative, "City Scent", garnered interest as it partnered with various scenic spots and emerging businesses, aiming to blend olfactory experiences with cultural and tourism scenes, immersing visitors in Yantai's rich history and unique charm.

The Laishan District Cultural and Tourism Bureau unveiled a series of rural tourism spots, inviting visitors to stargaze in the forests, gain wisdom in the fields, and savor the essence of mountains and seas amid the aroma of coffee, creating a poetic countryside rendezvous.

The event also featured a cultural bazaar showcasing and selling handicrafts and agricultural products, enhancing the event's outreach and impact.
