South Korean companies visit Yantai to seek cooperation

A visit by South Korean companies to Yantai was launched on May 15 in the Yantai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, setting the stage for a new era of cooperation.

The event featured a one-on-one negotiation area, facilitating the collision of ideas among entrepreneurs during exchanges.

"Through one-on-one negotiations, we have connected with Yantai's cross-border e-commerce companies. Their significant sales capabilities will complement our presence in the Chinese market, and we will strengthen our collaboration for mutual development," said a representative of a South Korean company.

The head of the Northeast Asia Branch of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency praised Yantai's business environment, saying that Yantai's proximity to South Korea and its well-developed industrial chain support system are advantageous. He also expressed anticipation for deep collaboration with Yantai companies during this visit in areas such as technology transfer and market expansion, injecting new momentum into Sino-Korean economic and trade development.

During their time in Yantai, South Korean business representatives will visit various districts and zones, including the Yantai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Muping district, and the comprehensive bonded zone, to gain a deeper understanding of Yantai's policies towards South Korea. They will also conduct on-site visits to relevant companies to expand cooperation.

As one of the closest Chinese cities to South Korea, Yantai has a strong foundation for cooperation with the country. In the future, Yantai will work diligently to optimize its business environment and create more opportunities for collaboration with South Korean companies.
