The new exhibition at Xi'an Museum showcases a variety of Changsha ware ceramics – paired with celadon and white-glazed ceramics – to reveal the world of Tang Dynasty (618-907) ceramics known as "Green in the South, White in the North and Painted in Changsha". From painted scenes and poems to calligraphy and decorative appliques, these decorations reveal artistry and everyday beauty from over a millennium ago.
