Fans flock to theater event

The two-day 2025 Friends of the Beijing People's Art Theatre Day, organized by the Beijing People's Art Theatre, kicked off on Saturday inviting audiences to share the joy of spending a weekend at the theater.

The event was first held in 2023, marking the 71st anniversary of the theater.

According to Feng Yuanzheng, president of the theater and a veteran actor and director, the goal is to share the theater space with the audience, relive theatrical memories, and to offer a more diverse experience. Since its inception, thousands of enthusiasts have taken the opportunity to visit the theater, learn more about its history, and enjoy its offerings.
