Jinan hosts provincial vocational education event

The 2025 Shandong Vocational Education Week, which commenced on May 11 in Jinan, has placed a spotlight on the critical role and dynamic evolution of vocational education.

The launch ceremony was marked by a comprehensive vocational education exhibition and an interactive experience event, segmented into four thematic zones: achievements in vocational education, the integration of vocational and general education, school highlights, and school-enterprise cooperation.

This event provided attendees with practical experience programs in areas such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, and cultural relic restoration. These activities underscored the significant contributions of vocational education to national strategic initiatives and its support for Shandong's economic and social development.

To foster a deeper understanding of vocational education among the public, especially younger generations, the event included on-site study activities for primary and secondary students. These activities offered students the opportunity to engage with vocational education through hands-on experiences and interactive exchanges, thereby broadening their perspectives on potential career paths.
