The "Langtou Experiment" is a rural revitalization project that has transformed Langtou village – once a 700-year-old quiet settlement in Guangzhou's Huadu district – into a vibrant example of sustainable development.
Currently, the project is featured in the 19th Venice Biennale of Architecture, sharing the story of Langtou's three-year transformation with a global audience through captivating videos and eco-friendly architectural models. Langtou is showing the world how ancient villages can thrive in the modern age.
