World's largest rice cake made in Hunan

Guidong county, Hunan province, hosted a village chef competition on Saturday.

A giant steamed glutinous rice cake was made during the event, earning a certification from the World Record Association. It measured 5.09 meters in diameter and 0.071 meters in average thickness. It utilized 551 kilograms of glutinous rice, 302 kg of indica rice, and 5,686 pieces of bamboo leaves, all crafted in one successful attempt, making it the world's largest glutinous rice cake to date.
