Shanghai moves to upgrade regional HQs of multinationals

Shanghai recently announced comprehensive measures to encourage multinational corporations to upgrade their regional headquarters in the city.

With 1,016 such headquarters in place by the end of 2024, Shanghai is the epicenter for the presence of MNCs in the Chinese mainland.

The new measures are effective from March 1 this year to Feb 28, 2030. Let's check out their major points:
