This is how the Kunju Opera Liu Dao Tu (Paintings of Six Realms) from Jiangsu province leads to discussions about how far an artist will go to achieve artistic perfection.

The play, performed at the Mei Lanfang Theater in Beijing on Sunday night, opened an event week to stage various operas created by Luo Zhou, a reputed scriptwriter from Jiangsu province.
