Baotou holds Qingming cultural activities

Baotou held 39 cultural activities during the Qingming Festival holiday, promoting traditional Chinese culture and enriching the lives of 42,800 people.

From April 4 to 6, 36,400 visitors participated in online and offline activities at the city's museums, libraries, and cultural centers.

Baotou Museum established themed social education activities. The 34 folk experience events, held over three days, allowed citizens to feel the unique charm of traditional culture. Sun Tongyu, a museum guide, said that through immersive experiences, tourists can deepen their understanding of Qingming culture while enjoying the festive atmosphere.

A Qingming-themed recital held at Suning Plaza on April 4 started with the classic poem Qingming, leading the audience into remembrance of the sages.

The Tianhe orchard in Jiuyuan district was bustling on April 5, with tourists experiencing a new "fruit picking + folk custom" tourism model and embracing rural spring charm.

These activities integrated cultural tradition with public service, offering people a new way to experience Chinese culture.
