Xi'an secures top 10 spot in Qingming holiday travel rankings

Xi'an's tourism market is heating up as the Qingming Festival holiday approaches. According to Tongcheng Travel's 2025 Qingming Holiday Travel Consumption Trends, Xi'an ranks among the top three historical and cultural cities during the holiday. Similarly, Tuniu's 2025 Qingming Holiday Travel Forecast lists Xi'an in the top six domestic destinations.

By March 25, Xi'an's tourism orders had increased 32 percent year-over-year, with flight bookings up 12 percent. Popular attractions such as Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, Huaqing Palace, Xi'an City Wall, Daming Palace, and Tang Paradise are witnessing a surge in reservations, preparing for a peak in visitor numbers.

Tulips bloomed harmoniously with Tang Dynasty (618-907) architecture at the opening of the 31st Spring Flower Exhibition at Xingqing Palace Park on March 29, transforming Xi'an into a floral paradise.

Meanwhile, the 33rd Spring Flower Festival at Xi'an Botanical Garden runs until May 5 and features over 100,000 tulips and rare plants.

The 9th Yanta International Cherry Blossom Festival, ongoing until April 20, offers breathtaking cherry blossom views. At Xi'an Qinling Wildlife Park, themed routes blend wildlife and flowers, creating a relaxing escape.
