More than 70 bronze mirrors from the Song (960-1279) and Jurchen Jin (1115-1234) dynasties, collected by Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, are now on display at Jiading Museum in Shanghai.
The mirrors' intricately decorated backs reveal the refined aesthetics and remarkable craftsmanship of ancient times. From swirling floral patterns to auspicious beasts, each design tells a story.
