The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has unveiled its fourth batch of national-level tourism and leisure streets, with Ziyang Street in Linhai county-level city, Taizhou securing a spot on the list.

Nestled in the heart of Linhai, Ziyang Street retains the essence of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), with its layout reflecting the elegance of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).

Predominantly built from wood, most structures rise two stories high, with some reaching three. The intricate carvings adorning corridors, windows, and beams depict vivid imagery and exquisite patterns, reflecting the aspirations for prosperity and harmony cherished by past generations.
