The Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center, known as Hongqiao 365, is enhancing its partnership with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce to boost international trade.

On March 4, Hongqiao 365 hosted the first event of the 11th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF)'s public service series focusing on tech trade. Over 200 guests, including Glasgow representatives, attended. Richard Muir, deputy chief executive of the Glasgow Chamber, addressed attendees by video.

Glasgow is the guest city of the honor at this year's CSITF, and Hongqiao 365 has pledged to fully support its participation.

Since 2022, their collaboration has successfully promoted Scottish whiskies in the Chinese market. In 2023, Hongqiao 365 helped introduce 22 new Scottish whisky products at the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE), and following the seventh CIIE, the OIE Scotch Whisky Pavilion opened at the Hongqiao International Wine Cellar in 2024, hosting regular tasting and exchange events.

To date, Hongqiao 365 has introduced 11 British whisky brands, including Macallan, Arran and Craigellache, with 50 products now available and sales expanding every year.
