Donglin village's innovative circular farming system wins provincial-level approval

The Jiangsu provincial standard titled "Technical code of practice for integration of 'rice-sheep-fertilizer' circulatory system in the ecological farm", led by the Donglin Farm Cooperative in Taicang, has been officially approved and published. It is Suzhou's only provincial-level agricultural standard, approved in 2024.

The standard serves as a model for large-scale circular farming, improving the utilization efficiency of agricultural waste and enhancing agricultural productivity.

Following such an innovative farming approach, Donglin village has successfully produced high-value agricultural products such as rice, fruits, vegetables, and sheep.

Thanks to its efforts to explore new paths for ecological, green, and sustainable development, Donglin village has garnered several national honors, such as a national ecological farm. In 2022, it was selected as a typical case of national agricultural green development.
