Cangxi, a county in Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, that is renowned for its pears, came alive for Lantern Festival celebrations earlier this week.
The cultural extravaganza, featuring displays of intangible cultural heritage, folk parades and new technology, attracted tens of thousands of spectators at key landmarks across the county.
The event involves almost 300 folk artists. Iconic local traditions, including dragon and lion dances, gongs and drums and stilt walking, captivated audiences.
