Pingxiang FTZ boosts high-quality border trade development

The Guangxi Pingxiang Integrated Free Trade Zone has recently won praise from the Ministry of Commerce in major working areas of the tariff adjustment process, collecting and reporting feedback from various stakeholders in 2024.

Last year, Pingxiang FTZ was heavily involved in formulating tariff adjustment tasks for 2025, extensively collecting and submitting opinions and suggestions from various parties. During the border trade research work, it gave full play to the role of grassroots contact points and actively assisted the Tariff Department of the Ministry of Finance in conducting research.

Strong tariff policies are vital as they reduce business costs, attract investment, stimulate trade growth, drive industrial upgrades, and promote economic development.

Officials of Guangxi Pingxiang Integrated Free Trade Zone have said that the zone will continue to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Commerce to optimize tariff policies.
