The Tongguan Kiln scenic area in Changsha, Hunan province, is hosting a series of diverse performances featuring traditional Chinese culture and modern technology during the ongoing Chinese New Year celebration.
Tourists have enjoyed fireworks shows, drone performances and a traditional steel flower show, where performers dance with molten iron, creating cascades of sparks that resemble blooming flowers.
The Tongguan Kiln was a prominent ceramic production center during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It was famous for its underglaze-painted wares and significant role in trade along the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
