'Painting Guiyang' art exhibition opens

The "Painting Guiyang" art exhibition is now open from Jan 7 to Feb 16 at the historic Dade School site in Nanming district, Guiyang city.

This exhibition highlights Guiyang's cultural treasures, showcasing local landmarks and urban memories through the eyes of young artists.

More than just an artistic display, the event delves into the city's cultural heritage. It aims to inspire a deep affection for hometown traditions while strengthening visitors' cultural identity and sense of belonging.

The exhibition also integrates themes from the "Protecting Buds" campaign and the "Green Bookmark Initiative," embedding relevant elements into the artwork. These efforts not only promote cultural excellence but also educate youth on enhancing self-protection awareness.

A series of Nanming cultural salons will accompany the exhibition, offering participants an immersive experience in artistic creation and an exploration of the essence of Nanming culture.
