Kunming Botanical Garden has a new attraction in the form of an Alpine Truffle Museum, the first museum of its kind in China. Founded by Chinese company DR Plant, the museum showcases the unique charm of truffles – one of Yunnan's most rare and precious wild fungi, as well as truffles' economic, ecological and cultural significance. With truffle-related exhibits, the museum aims to promote biodiversity conservation and help obtain biological and genetic resources to benefit more by sharing them.
