Ballet workshop marks key anniversary

National Ballet of China staged Ballet Workshop 15th Anniversary Gala in Beijing on Dec 26. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The gala recently staged in Beijing featured over 20 original works of various themes, including excerpts from Close Your Eyes When It's Getting Dark, by choreographer Zhang Zhenxin which premiered in 2010, excerpts from Shades and Marks, by choreographer Wang Le which premiered in 2021, and excerpts from Never Forget You — My Love, by choreographer Liu Xuechen which premiered in 2024.
