In this episode, Professor Mahoney follows a 12345 hotline order and visits the Luhemingyuan Community in Tongzhou district, an aging residential area built in 1999.

Professor Mahoney learns that the homeowners of Unit D, Building Two of the Luhemingyuan Community unanimously agreed to apply to the government for the installation of a lift. However, neighbors from an adjacent unit opposed the plan during its public display, arguing it violates relevant policies and will block their sunlight.
