On Dec 6, the Hangzhou Yueju Opera Troupe brought their stunning production of The Deer and the Cauldron to Nantong, Jiangsu! The production is adapted from the classic martial arts novel of the same name by Jin Yong (1924-2018), blending intrigue, humor, and adventure as it follows the cunning anti-hero Wei Xiaobao through Qing Dynasty(1644-1911) politics.
