Chunshu Library, located at No 9 Luomashi Street in Xicheng district, has been honored with the title of one of the "Top 10 Reading Spaces in Beijing" for 2024.

Established in 2018, Chunshu Library is a modern public reading space initiated by the government and operated with support from social forces. Built on the site of the former residence of renowned journalist Lin Baishui, the venue was renovated according to heritage conservation standards. It has since evolved into a multifunctional cultural space that serves as a community library and a museum at the same time, offering free access to residents. It features a wealth of literary resources and thoughtfully organized functional areas. Its services include book lending, cultural exchanges, art sharing, and professional training.

In 2024, Chunshu Library has welcomed over 52,000 visitors, handled more than 9,000 book loans, and hosted over 90 events for more than 1,500 participants, including reading sessions, hands-on workshops, and cultural lectures.
