Today is Orange & Movie Day for lovers. Do you have someone to enjoy a film with?
Take a look at this elephant couple, standing side by side with adorable expressions. These two elephants bring to mind the Chinese phrase “对象” (lit. a pair of elephants), which is a play on words referring to a significant other or someone you are dating.
The tricolor elephant-shaped ewers were salvaged from a Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) shipwreck found on the northwest continental slope of the South China Sea, now housed at the China (Hainan) Museum of The South China Sea.
Wish you a wonderful day filled with love and togetherness!
