From 1957 to 2010, renowned French photographer Marc Riboud (1923-2016) visited China over 20 times, capturing the authentic facets of Chinese society and documenting its profound historical and social transformations.
Now, 118 of Marc Riboud's precious photographs, from the collection of the National Museum of Asian Arts-Guimet in France, are making their debut today at the Hunan Museum. This exhibition is a beautiful intersection of the East and West, commemorating six decades of diplomatic relations between China and France.
