From Aug 9-11, the Puccini’s opera Madama Butterfly, co-produced by Shanghai Opera House, Royal Opera House of the UK, and Shanghai Grand Theatre, was performed for three consecutive days. The production, which opened the 24/25 season of the opera house, was well received by the Shanghai audiences.
