Staff at a nature reserve management bureau in Yunnan province recently captured precious footage of the clouded leopard, a national first-class protected animal. Currently, the number of wild clouded leopards in China is less than a fraction of the number of giant pandas. Due to its secretive habits, encountering a clouded leopard in the wild is much rarer than encountering a Siberian tiger.
