2024 Qu Yuan's Hometown Dragon Boat Festival Cultural Event kicks off

The 2024 Qu Yuan's Hometown Dragon Boat Festival Cultural Event kicked off in Zigui county, Yichang, Hubei province, on June 7. The ancient Chu rituals such as burning offerings to the heavens, drinking Baomao wine, and welcoming the gods with music and dance were presented.

After the tribute, the original performance China in the Songs of Chu showcased Yichang's rich cultural history and modern urban beauty through poetry, dance, and storytelling.
