On May 29, Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Wuxi New District, held its 2024 Sci-Tech and Talent Conference, which also marked the launch of a talent service week.

The week-long event features a series of activities designed to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship, including entrepreneur forums, technology exchange meetings, policy briefings, talent tours, and science lectures.

Key highlights of the May 29 conference included the signing of an agreement to establish an innovation base of Xi'an Jiaotong University's National Technology Transfer Center. This base will integrate resources from Xi'an Jiaotong University and other institutions in Xi'an, along with industry resources from GRG Metrology and Test, to promote the transfer and transformation of scientific achievements in WND and other areas in Wuxi.

Additionally, collaborative institutions with Nanjing University and Jilin University will further enhance the integration of industry and education, fostering a vibrant ecosystem for technological innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

Cui Rongguo, deputy director of the administrative committee of Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, expressed hopes for deeper exchanges and collaborations between experts, entrepreneurs, and the district. He emphasized WND's commitment to optimizing services to ensure that talents can invest, start businesses, and build successful futures in the district.
