Urban barrier-free center benefits disabled to enjoy cultural and sports life

Hezhuang cultural and sports center, located in Qiantang district of Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has been striving to build a disabled-friendly environment in recent years.

A variety of barrier-free facilities have been set up at the gymnasium, swimming pool, etc. in the center to better meet the special needs of people with disabilities.

In recent years, Hangzhou City has vigorously promoted the construction of urban barrier-free facilities. As of 2023, Hangzhou has completed the renovation and upgrading of 140,000 urban barrier-free projects.
