Born in 1940, Christoph Eschenbach, now 84, has dazzled the classical music world for over half a century as both a pianist and conductor. The China Philharmonic Orchestra had the honor of collaborating with him in 2010 and 2011. On May 19, after a 13-year hiatus, Eschenbach reunited with the orchestra and young violist Mei Diyang at the National Centre for the Performing Arts for a breathtaking concert.
