Explore Tomb No 1 in Zone C of the Qinshihuang's Mausoleum complex in Xi'an, Shaanxi province.
A large number of bronze pieces, as well as pottery, jade, iron, gold and silver artifacts were unearthed. Notably, a well-preserved four-wheeled wooden carriage, the first of its kind found in China, was discovered in the tomb passage.
It is currently the largest, highest-ranked, and best-preserved large-scale tomb discovered from the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC), and it offers valuable insights into the burial practices of Emperor Qinshihuang’s time.
