Chinese-made metro trains have achieved 100 consecutive days of safe operation in Porto, Portugal, as of March 4 local time, with widespread praise from local citizens, according to CRRC Tangshan Co, the trains' producer based in Tangshan, Hebei province.
The company said the fleet's total mileage has exceeded 240,000 kilometers, transporting over 2 million passengers.
The metro trains began operation in Porto in December, marking the first run of its kind in the European Union.
