A new species discovered in Dehong

At a recent plant resource survey in the Tongbiguan Provincial-level Nature Reserve in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province, a Calanthe orchid species that resembles Calanthe seiboldii was discovered. Through morphological and molecular systematic research comparisons, it was determined that this species is a new species of the Calanthe genus in the Orchidaceae family. It was named Calanthe yingjiangensis.
