Video: Expats explore Spring Festival folk culture in Tai'an

A group of international students studying in Tai'an participated in a celebration tour in Taishan district on Feb 2.

They wrote Spring Festival couplets and the Chinese character fu and enjoyed cultural performances such as Taishan Shadow Puppetry and dragon and lion dances. They even joined the dragon dance team to try performing the dance themselves.

They were also impressed by dragon-themed intangible cultural heritage items such as clay sculptures, sugar paintings, and dough sculptures, immersing themselves in a rich cultural feast. Check out the video for more insights!
