Soprano Wang Li performed a song, titled Ode to the New Year, during the gala. As a faculty member of the school's musical department, the soprano said that the school devotes to training young Chinese actors, actresses, dancers and musical performers.
"Young students need stage experience, which better prepare them for their future career," said Wang.
