Beijing-Xiong'an freeway opens

A freeway linking Beijing and Xiong'an New Area in Hebei province began operation on Thursday, further reducing the travel time between the two places to one hour.

The 97-kilometer freeway, with a design speed of up to 120 km/h, is the most convenient and fastest freeway linking the capital and the new area, facilitating the development of the new area, and the integrated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province.
