Ren Bonian (1840-1895), born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, was one of the four masters of the Shanghai art school in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). On Sept 9, the Shaoxing Museum unveiled an exhibition, revisiting Ren’s artistic achievements, showcasing 158 paintings created by Ren and his teachers, friends and students. Don’t miss out!
