On Aug 14, an international forum marking the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the “Hetao People” was kicked off in Uxin Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The fossils of the “Hetao People” were discovered there in the Salawusu archeological site. At the ceremony, the new Salawusu Site Museum was unveiled, illustrating the archaeological findings, and highlighting relevant knowledge of the site through more than 300 exhibits. Congrats to all involved!
