Dacheng School is located at the cross of the West 3rd Ring and Binhe Street in Binhe New Area of Ganzhou, a district of Zhangye, northwest China's Gansu Province. It covers an area of 183,849.2 square meters (275.76 mu) and boasts a floor area of 50,000 square meters. The campus consists of four different zones, six yards and 18 specific buildings. In addition, there is a standard stadium with a 400-meter-long synthetic running track, football field, basketball and table tennis courts.

Dacheng School has 215 staff members, including five provincial-level leading teachers, seven municipal-level leading teachers, 34 county-level leading teachers and five people with master's degrees. There are 3,430 students in 71 classes. Statistics show that 1,264 students are living in the school and that about 60 percent of them come from rural and migrant families. Moreover, there are 261 students of ethnic minorities.


In addition to the organization of special sports activities, the recitation of classical Chinese literature and weekly singing event, Dacheng school has founded all types of interest groups, which include writing, calligraphy, painting and photography arts, to further enrich the extracurricular life of students and promote their diversified development.

Since its establishment nine years ago, Dacheng School has received a wide range of awards and titles at county-level and above, which include Top Chinese Young Pioneer, National Special Football Campus and Gansu demonstration school for moral education, earthquake and disasters prevention & science popularization, in recognition of its sound achievements in all aspects.

Driven by its motto, which stresses unity and strives for excellence, Dacheng School has forged new frontiers and made consistent efforts to meet public expectations for high-quality education.
