Spanish operatic tenor José Carreras, who is famed as one of the Three Tenors along with Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti, held his first-ever masterclass outside Italy at the Pingshan Theatre in Shenzhen from July 21 to 24.
The 77-year-old legendary singer, who is also a respected voice coach around the world, shared his decades-long expertise with 20 young Chinese vocalists and carried out a teaching plan specifically designed for young music students in China aged 16 to 22.
