On July 23, the Suzhou Museum kicked off an exhibit, illustrating the development history of Suzhou embroidery from 1949 to 2019. Embroidery works, documents and photos are on display, presenting the charm of this national intangible cultural heritage with a history of more than 2,000 years, giving visitors the opportunity to explore and witness the innovation of the craft. The exhibit will run through Oct 6.
