Check out this Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) Ge ware, an incense burner with two fish-shaped ears. Copying ancient design, the incense burner has a slightly trumpet-shaped mouth, a bulging belly and a ring foot. Crackle patterns spread across the whole incense burner, providing its distinctive aesthetic.
A rare piece and fine example of Ge ware, it is kept in the permanent collection of the National Museum of China.
