In the Laozhuangshi village of Gangli town, Weishi county, Kaifeng city, Henan province, two Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) tombs, 12 Song Dynasty (960-1279) tombs and eight Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) tombs were recently discovered.
In the rare Song Dynasty family tombs, colored paintings and brick decorations can be found on the walls. They also feature doors, windows, furniture and daily utensils like scissors, plates and vessels, revealing the daily lives and funeral customs of the period.
