In 1153, Beijing became the capital of the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234). To commemorate the 870th anniversary of the establishment of Beijing as the capital, an exhibit was launched at the Beijing Archaeological Site Museum on June 10. A total of 187 cultural relics are on display, presenting the city layout, lives and scenery of Beijing 870 years ago. The exhibit will run through Sept 30.
