A guideline aimed at helping enterprises prevent risks and regulate their operations was issued by a Beijing court on Thursday in Yizhuang, an economic and technological development area in the capital's southern suburbs.

The guideline was formulated after the Beijing No 1 Intermediate People's Court researched legal issues that companies are most concerned with across the city to help them solve disputes and promote their healthy growth.

While calling on enterprises to establish their own management rules, the guideline also highlighted many laws involving business operations, including the Civil Code, the Corporation Law, the Enterprise Bankruptcy Law and the Labor Contract Law.

The Yizhuang court was chosen to release the guideline "because lots of hi-tech enterprises and innovators get together in the area," said Ma Qiang, president of the court, adding that issuing the document was the court's first step in its efforts to support the capital's economic and technological development.

With more complicated problems emerging in business operation, "we'll offer better services and open more channels for enterprises to meet their legal demands and support their high-quality growth," he said.
