The Wuxi Rural Tourism Festival kicked off in Baita village, Yixing, a county-level city of Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on May 19, which marks the 13th China Tourism Day.

The festival features dance performances, a music concert, camping, and bazzars where craftsmen demonstrated their crafts.

The bureaus of culture, broadcasting, and tourism, as well as agriculture and rural affairs, launched six travel routes featuring mountains and rivers in Yixing, peaches in Huishan district, and Wu culture in Xinwu district, at the festival.

The festival also saw the announcement of the 10 most beautiful footpaths in the city, including the Huishan National Forest Park footpath, Junzhang Ancient Footpath, and Shangxian River Fitness Footpath.
