Discover the glorious era of Chinese painting in the early 20th century! The “Beijing-Tianjin School” emerged with artists like Jin Cheng, Chen Shizeng, Qi Baishi, and more, dedicated to preserving and innovating traditional Chinese art.
On May 26, the Tianjin Museum kicked off an exhibit featuring masterpieces of the Beijing-Tianjin Painting School. More than 90 selected artworks by nearly 50 artists are on display, including landscape paintings, figure paintings and bird-and-flower paintings.
